The Hyderabad AICOG Convocation saw 80 plus new Fellows and Members joining the ICOG family. I heartily welcome you all and expect that you will try your best to bring this Academic wing of FOGSI---ICOG to a greater height.

I am sure, after the new amendments to rules and regulations of ICOG, it will be easier for more and more FOGSI members to get their FELLOWSHIP and MEMBERSHIP of ICOG.

The second series of 'Current Opinion on Ethics, Evidence and Excellence' is coming up in Goa on 18th - 20th March, 2011. We are privileged to have FIGO Ethics Committee Chairperson and many other International as well as renowned National faculties deliberating on various topics of day-to-day importance to our practicing obstetricians & gynaecologists. I am sure you have already marked the date.

ICOG credit point system is already in place and our website showing?credit points? will give you all the details as to how to accumulate these credit points.

Office bearers of our individual FOGSI societies are requested to get every programme they will be conducting, accreditated through ICOG and also the State Medical Council.

Our aim is to give Good Clinical Practice Recommendations (GCPR) in most of the important topics of day-to-day practice. Many topics are already covered and others are in the pipeline. Please visit our website frequently to remain updated in your specialities.
